2 Hadiths to deepen your faith —
Narrated by Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), she reported that the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: "Seek Lailat-ul-Qadr (the Night of Decree) in the odd nights of the last ten days of Ramadan." (Sahih Bukhari)
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Iman has sixty odd or seventy odd branches. The uppermost of all these is the Testimony of Faith: 'La ilaha illallah' (there is no true god except Allah) while the least of them is the removal of harmful object from the road. And shyness is a branch of Iman."[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
1 Quran Verse with reflection—
"And it may be that you dislike a thing which is good for you, and that you like a thing which is bad for you. Allah knows, but you do not know." - Quran, 2:216
This verse from the Quran reminds us that our understanding and perception of what is good or bad for us may not always be accurate. Sometimes, we may dislike or resist something that is ultimately beneficial for us, and sometimes we may desire something that may be harmful to us in the long run. However, Allah, in His infinite wisdom, knows what is truly best for us, even when we do not comprehend it.
This verse teaches us the importance of trust in Allah's wisdom and guidance. It encourages us to have faith in His plan for us, even when we face challenges or difficulties that we do not fully understand. It reminds us that Allah's knowledge surpasses ours, and He knows what is best for us in every situation, even if it does not align with our personal preferences or desires.
This verse also reminds us to be humble and recognize our limited understanding. It encourages us to seek Allah's guidance through prayer, reflection, and consultation, rather than relying solely on our own opinions and desires. It reminds us to submit ourselves to Allah's will and trust in His wisdom, even if it goes against our own perceived notions of what is good or bad for us.
"May Allah bless you with a peaceful and productive week ahead, filled with opportunities to serve Him and make a positive impact in the world. Ameen
